We are all a work in Progress

Welcome to the first post on the Inivators Blog, where we'll be keeping the public updated on our present projects at Iniva at Rivington Place, as well as other points of artistic interests.

The group was set up in 2007 as part of the Gallery’s learning programme, and has produced and curated four art projects in collaboration with other artists since it was formed. The group acts as a unique, innovative and experimental voice within the Gallery.

The groups current project in collaboration with Artist Yara El-Sherbini is called 'Work in Progress' and has been created in response to the Galleries 'Progress Reports' exhibition which opens on the 27th January 2010.

The project is the groups response to questions surrounding the current state of Diversity within the Visual Arts, and over the coming weeks there shall be blog posts about the development and observations made as the project progresses.
